Congress has moved a Privilege Motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PTI)
Congress MP Charanjit Channi said there were many 'objectionable remarks' made by Anurag Thakur in the Lok Sabha. Some of the remarks were later expunged.
Congress MP Charanjit Singh Channi on Tuesday moved a Privilege Motion against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for tweeting the expunged portions of BJP MP Anurag Thakur's caste remarks against Rahul Gandhi in Parliament.
In his complaint to the Lok Sabha secretary general, Channi said there were "many objectionable remarks" made by the BJP MP in Lok Sabha. Some of the remarks were later expunged from the records by Congress MP Jagdambika Pal, who was in the Chair during the proceedings.
