IOC Kerala sponsors aid to Kerala flood victims

The unforgettable and devastating flood which hit Kerala last year had brought havoc to many families who completely lost their entire house. Indian Overseas Congress Australia not only generously raised funds to support relief operations but also commit to sponsor construction of one house for an affected family. After finalising the formalities, the foundation laying ceremony was done on 29th May and beneficiaries were a couple with two young kids. Our IOC Kerala Chapter President Suresh Vallath, who spearheaded this cause, personally grace this occasion. This was possible due to sincere efforts of Suresh Vallath along with Soban Thomas, Jijesh Pv, Vishnu, Binu, entire Kerala team and other IOC members who generously contributed to make this happen. IOC Australia not only stands for Congress ideology but also supports various social and community causes from time to time and also supports community in their hour of crisis.
