No doubt, people of India are eagerly waiting for the result of the recently concluded marathon election. Indian Overseas Congress Australia in conjunction with Overseas units of many countries and 1000s of NRI assisted Congress in this election campaign. Clearly, there was a sharp contrast between campaign of Congress & BJP; Congress ran a positive campaign with positive agenda for peaceful, progressive India & inclusive welfare of all sections of society, while BJP, to hide their massive non performance, ran a divisive, polarised & mischievous campaign based on emotive issues and distortion of historical facts. BJP, in desperation to win, touched many new lows in India political history; and no matter what will be the final result but they have certainly brought a bad name to post of PM and polarised the country.
